a. Percent By Mass
b. Percent by Volume
c. Mass-Volume Percent
Above three modules calculate the concentrations of solutions, in both percent and parts by million (PPM) by mass, by volume, or mass-volume percent and PPM; or calculate the amount of solute or solvent by knowing percent and either solvent or solute.
d. Molarity
This module is to calculate the molarity of a solution by known the moles of the solute directly or indirectly, and the volume of the solution; or calculate either the moles of the solute or the volume of the solution by known the molarity and the other quantity.
e. Molality
This module is to calculate the molality of a solution by known the moles of the solute directly or indirectly, and the mass of the solvent; or calculate either the moles of the solute or the mass of the solvent by known the molality and the other quantity.
f. Dilution
This module is to compute the one quantity appearing the following formulae by knowing other quantities.
Ms x Vs = Md x Vd , or
(M1 x V1) + (M2 x V2) = Md x Vd
g. Solution Stoichiometry
This module studies the quantitative relationships of a reaction of reactants and products including solutions.
This module provides step-wise solutions in the quantitative relationships of a reaction including solutions.
h. Boiling-Point Elevation/Freezing-Point Depression
This module calculates Boiling-Point Elevation or Freezing-Point Depression of a solution by given its molality; or calculate the molecular weight or mass of the solute in the solution by giving Boiling-Point Elevation or Freezing-Point Depression of a solution.
